Curses Releases New Single “Deliver”

Out Friday The 13th on Ultra Music

New York’s very own Luca Venezia, better known as Curses (or by his rockabilly-electro moniker, Drop The Lime), is at it again and ready to “deliver” his brand new single to the world. In typical Curses fashion, “Deliver” begins with an ethereal opening that gradually widens for the late night crowd. A strong, steady bass line underlies the track while a deep, raspy vocal tops the tune – a unique sound that captured the ears of Skream who premiered the track on BBC Radio 1.

Introducing what is being dubbed Preacher House, Venezia taps into his high school gospel roots and serves up an anthem for the underground. No coincidence then that its drops Friday December 13th.

Having re-ignited the Curses flame in Spring ,it has been a hectic year so far for New York’s Luca Venezia (also known for his rockabilly-electro moniker Drop The Lime). Key shows around North America with the likes of Tensnake, Soulclap, Simian Mobile Disco & Maya Jane Coles have helped to spread the Curses sound and the first single ‘So Good’, that became a summer house anthem.

Single number two, “Watch And Do” (released via Ultra Music this October) has become one of the highlights of the afterhours parties this fall. “Watch And Do,” the second in a trilogy of “Gotham House” singles heading into 2014, has continued to help define the Curses name and dancefloors worldwide.

Now the world is ready for the third Curses release – “Deliver” – out this December via Ultra Music. The track is the perfect follow-up to “Watch And Do” – helping to lead into the New Year where there are sure to be some big surprises in store from Curses.

The deeper you go, the more you can uncover and the only thing encouraged is for the cursed souls to unite and dance.
