Roger Shah returns to NYC this Friday to perform at Esscala’s event at Santos Party house along with hometown hero Mir Omar.
Not many people know this unless they have been in the scene for over a decade but Roger Shah used to be a resident of New York City’s nightclub and landmark Webster Hall back in the early 2000’s. In fact he also mixed of volume 5 of Webster’s legendary compilation series entitled “New York Dance” in 2001.
The German-Pakistani producer also known as Sunlounger has such a rich history with our great city and he obviously knows what the crowd wants since he has been invited back to perform year after year. He has already performed at some of New York’s most prestigious venues including Highline Ballroom.
While Roger has previously visited Santos party house in the past for a surprise appearance he has not yet performed in the club so Friday will be his debut at the venue.
Mir Omar is a New York City favorite and rising star with a driving melodic sound that brings the crowd to the dancefloor. He has produced multiple remixes for artists such as Zedd and Kyau and Albert with many more to come. With recent time on the decks with the likes of Andy Moor and Rory James plus support from Bryan Kearney and Ronski Speed, New York City is more than happy to have him back at Santos.
This pair of DJs will be sure to pump out some solid trance and are not to miss!
